At the end of the first innings, Australia has scored 216 / 5 in 32.0 overs setting the target of 217 for India. India would not be under much pressure as it is not a demanding target.

The 67 runs scored by Matthew Wade in 69 balls did a considerable help to the to the Australia to score 216 runs.

Michael Hussey also contributed with 45 runs in 32 balls which aided the overall run rate of the team.

David Hussey also contributed with 61 runs in 30 balls which aided the overall run rate of the team.

Vinay Kumar of Australia bowled brilliantly throughout the match and made life difficult for the batsmen of India.
